Overview

Project Management and Learning Development Specialist – Safety Management Systems (SMS) Promotion team. The selected candidate will lead planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of safety‑related projects and initiatives, supporting a Positive Safety Culture across the enterprise. The role may be based onsite in Everett, WA or Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities
  • Lead planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of safety‑related projects and initiatives, including development, implementation, and maintenance of digital platforms, dashboards, and communication channels to support the Safety Experience and Promotion team.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute training materials, promotional content, and digital assets to support ongoing safety education and awareness efforts.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data to provide insights and recommendations that enhance safety programs and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and senior leaders to support project planning, execution, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Coordinate meetings, communications, and feedback collection to ensure alignment and effective information flow among stakeholders.
  • Support special projects and initiatives assigned, contributing to the overall success of the Safety Experience and Promotion team.
  • Support the management of SMS training requirements, including development and procurement as necessary.
  • Build relationships to gain support and commitment from others, promoting ideas with enthusiasm, conviction, and assertiveness.
  • Facilitate recurring meetings, technical exchanges, and reviews.
  • Communicate plans and strategies with senior/executive leadership.
  • Drive results using appropriate processes, tools, schedules, metrics, and data analytics.
Qualifications
  • Basic (Level
    3):
    6+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience; 3+ years of managing complex projects; 3+ years supporting cross‑functional teams; 3+ years identifying and communicating business requirements with cross‑functional or cross‑business teams; 3+ years leading teams or initiatives; 3+ years working directly with executives or senior leaders.
  • Preferred (Level
    4):
    10+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience; experience creating workforce development and/or Learning and Development strategies and programs that deliver measurable results; experience with Instructional Design methodologies; experience in End‑to‑End Project/Program Management, communication with senior leaders, and facilitation of workshops; experience with Microsoft Office suite; experience in data analysis, trending, and reporting; experience using project management software or another portfolio management tool.
Pay
