Supply Chain Purchasing Procurement

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes including RFP preparation, bid analysis, price negotiation, and purchase order management.
• Manage inquiries related to order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Purchase goods, materials, supplies, and services across a wide range of commodities, with a focus on machined/sheet metal parts, vacuum-formed parts, hardware, and electrical components.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and expedite options to support business needs.
• Prepare purchase orders, review invoices, and approve payments in alignment with organizational standards.
• Compile pricing proposals, financial reports, and market data to support cost analysis and decision-making.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain challenges, including shortages and late deliveries.

• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, search functions, sorting, filtering).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred;
  SAP experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing complex procurement challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and suppliers.
