Job Summary
The Business Analyst, Contract Compliance is responsible for supporting all aspects of contract compliance and administration to include contract language development, preparation and submission of contract documents to the State of Washington regulator; import of regulatorily approved contract templates and implementation of negotiated agreements in the department's Contract Management (CM) system; contribution to optimization of contracting processes and CM system as a business SME;
development, maintenance, and support to staff on an alternative language library; and quality and continuous monitoring to ensure contractual documents produced and stored in the CM system are in accordance with established SLAs, department policy, legal and regulatory requirements, guidelines and standards. The analyst backs up and represents the Contract Compliance Department on matters pertaining to contract templates, compliance, legal, and regulatory inquiries.

- Contracts document creation and building, moving documents through Contracting Compliance processes, coordinating Matrix Partners to communicate contract status and terms.
- Top 3 required skills:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), project management skills, quick uptake of department‑specific applications (PRMS, SERFF).
- Must reside in Washington or Idaho.
- Proven background in contract compliance and administration, ideally working with state regulatory bodies (Washington State regulators is a major plus).
- Hands‑on experience working within a Contract Management (CM) system, including importing templates and optimizing system processes.
- Strong understanding of contract language development and experience managing alternative language libraries.
- Strong attention to detail with a track record of monitoring documents against strict SLAs, department policies, and legal requirements.
