Job Overview
Bank of America is hiring a Financial Center Representative to serve as the first point of contact for client’s banking needs. The role focuses on building relationships, offering suitable financial solutions, and ensuring exceptional client service.
Responsibilities- Partner with teams to provide client solutions for consumer and small business needs
- Educate and train clients on self‑service technologies
- Leverage resources and processes to optimize the client experience and deliver operational excellence
- Adhere to established processes, laws, and guidelines when opening accounts, maintaining accounts, and offering Digital Assisted Shopping
- Manage client interactions, taking the best action for the bank and clients while complying with regulatory requirements
- Minimum of one year of sales experience in a relationship‑oriented, client‑centric environment
- Highly motivated self‑starter with a strong work ethic and focus on results
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confidence engaging all clients
- Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Commissioned notary or ability to obtain a notary commission within a few months of start date (depending on state law)
- Willingness to work weekends and/or extended hours, and possible scheduling at any financial center location within a reasonable distance
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
- Retail or sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment
- Experience working toward individual and team goals that are routinely met or exceeded
- Experience with financial data, spreadsheets and computer skills, including Microsoft applications
- Knowledge of banking products and services and experience in client management or advisory
- Sales pipeline management, prospecting, referral identification and referral management skills
High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
Work Hours & CompensationShift: 1st shift (United States of America). Hours per week: 40. Pay range: $25.97 - $31.75 hourly, based on experience, education and skill set. The role is eligible for a formulaic incentive plan.
