Senior Business Development Representative – KC‑46
The Boeing Company – Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) Business Development & Strategy organization seeks a Level 5 Senior Business Development Representative to join the KC‑46 Business Development and Strategy team. The role reports to the Senior Manager of KC‑46 and is responsible for shaping the market and capturing new business.
Position Responsibilities- Develop marketing and campaign win strategies.
- Manage captures, including identifying and driving the strategy for capturing new business, managing supporting investments and resources, and leading a cross‑functional capture team.
- Initiate and advance customer relationships to be accepted as a trusted business partner.
- Interface directly with customer decision makers to shape the market and optimize business cases for new products, technologies, and services.
- Consult and influence decisions of Boeing senior level executives regarding business goals and objectives.
- Prepare solicitation responses (RFPs, RFIs), shape ongoing capture efforts, identify customer needs and requirements, and develop winning strategies.
- Obtain and leverage detailed understanding of the customer’s processes, procedures, techniques, organization, and culture.
- Maintain an understanding of the domestic and international competitive landscape, including knowledge of competitors’ products, services, activities, and their impact on our competitive position.
- Manage organization new business funds.
Location:
Everett, WA;
Berkeley, MO; or Arlington, VA. The position is 100% onsite and requires eligibility to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Secret Clearance). Candidates must travel up to 25% domestically and internationally (up to 50% for certain locations). Agile and willing to work in a fast‑paced environment while balancing multiple tasks is required.
- 5+ years of experience leading cross‑functional teams.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
- Experience preparing and presenting executive‑level briefings.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer‑facing role engaging with internal and/or external customers.
- Agile and willing to work in a fast‑paced environment while balancing multiple tasks concurrently and paying close attention to detail.
- 10+ years of experience working in a professional environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- 5+ years of experience working contracts with U.S. Department of Defense, Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), and/or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
- Relocation support available based on candidate eligibility.
Competitive base pay ranges from $164,050 to $221,950 in Everett, WA and Arlington, VA, or $153,000 to $207,000 in Berkeley, MO.
