Method Process Analyst
The Boeing Company is seeking Methods Process Analysts (Levels 2, 3, or
4) located in Everett, Renton, Seattle, Auburn, or Frederickson, Washington, USA. The ideal candidate will apply business acumen and knowledge to partner with cross‑functional teams from production operations, engineering, quality, supplier management, materials management, and program management to achieve organizational business goals and objectives.
- Conducts analysis of current and future business environment using established guidelines.
- Develop forecasts, acquisition, and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plans.
- Develops and maintains basic Business System factory definition for manufacturing planning.
- Contributes to the development of labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages.
- Monitors performance against established labor hour estimates.
- Assists in the development of integrated tool and production master schedules by developing tool and position plan documents, tool downtimes, rate flow plans, #1 flows, and tool sequencing plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment, material and personnel.
- Identifies and implements improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and support company improvement initiatives.
- Analyzes changes to approved plans resulting from unplanned events.
- Assesses the impact of the changes on cost, schedule, resources, and delivery.
- Gathers and analyzes shop performance metrics to support a recommended plan of action for Production and Tooling Management.
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business related curriculum such as Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics or Math.
- 3 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing and/or production environment.
- 3 or more years of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- 3 or more years of experience working in a team environment.
- 3 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing and knowledge of lean principles.
- 3 or more years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.
- 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience developing metrics to drive results and business improvements.
- Experience in project management.
- Proficiency in structured problem solving.
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
