Overview
Senior (Level
5) Business Operations Specialist to support the Director, Enterprise Safety Promotion and Positive Safety Culture in Everett, WA or Seattle, WA. The role serves as Chief of Staff to the Director, acting as a trusted advisor, key integrator, and operational leader for the team.
- Leadership Support:
Serve as trusted advisor, anticipate needs, manage priorities, and support strategic planning and issue resolution. - Program Management and Operating Rhythm:
Apply program‑management best practices, coordinate execution of initiatives, establish and manage the team operating rhythm, and track commitments, milestones, risks, and dependencies. - Organizational Effectiveness and Team Integration:
Promote structure, clarity, and follow‑through across the team, facilitate collaboration and communication, maintain documentation, tools, and templates, and act as a central point of coordination. - Boeing Process and Tool Management:
Lead budget development, tracking, forecasting, and reporting; plan and coordinate LRBP; own internal processes; manage vendor relationships, contracts, and invoicing; and use Salesforce, Smartsheets, Teams, Workfront, and similar tools. - Executive Presentation and Reporting:
Gather, analyze, and synthesize data to support leadership decisions; develop executive‑level presentations, briefings, and reporting materials. - Continuous Improvement and Cultural Enablement:
Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, and operational effectiveness; maintain and ensure consistent use of tools, templates, and processes.
- 15+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership.
- Knowledge and application of program‑management best practices.
- Experience executing budget‑management principles and practices.
- Experience deploying functional, business, or enterprise initiatives across multiple teams.
- Experience with SAP Ariba computer software.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM.
- Experience with program and project‑management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Smartsheet or equivalent.
