Job Summary

Job Title:

Insurance Product Manager.

Location:

United States (Remote). The role focuses on building a best‑in‑class homeowners insurance product organization at Homeowners of America, a Porch Group company.

As Product Manager, you will own profitable growth across assigned markets, drive new product and pricing initiatives from concept to national implementation, and serve as a critical connector across underwriting, actuarial, marketing, and operations.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the successful implementation of new product, pricing, and underwriting actions at a state and national level.
  • Maintain loss ratio discipline and risk tolerance while achieving profitable growth in assigned markets; incorporate current and projected market conditions into forecasts and business objectives.
  • Manage catastrophe risk and concentration risk effectively as the business pursues growth objectives.
  • Analyze key competitors and their strategies; share insights across the organization to develop effective market initiatives and build competitive intelligence tools.
  • Regularly report on product performance and make data‑driven decisions to optimize results; recommend KPIs and metrics to improve performance tracking.
  • Ensure all products meet customer needs and expectations; incorporate customer feedback into product development and improvement.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with underwriting, marketing, sales, IT, and operations teams to deliver cohesive and effective product initiatives.
  • Ensure all products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Identify and develop cross‑functional process improvements that enhance both efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Actuarial Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in product management, actuarial, finance, or related roles within the insurance industry; minimum 5+ years in homeowners insurance required.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and strategic initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of personal lines insurance and reinsurance, including trends, regulations, and the competitive landscape.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to inspire and drive cross‑functional teams toward common goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities; proficiency using data to drive strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex issues clearly for partners and stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with passion for innovation, continuous improvement, financial acumen, and regulatory knowledge.
  • Demonstrated customer focus and the ability to incorporate feedback into product strategy.
Benefits

Pay Range: $138,800 – $194,300 annually. Long‑term incentive awards may be offered subject to program guidelines and approvals.
