Superintendent – Commercial Construction
A respected local General Contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their growing team and oversee projects throughout the Greater Seattle area.
With a strong backlog of multifamily, retail, and commercial projects, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable company with long-term career growth. The Superintendent will provide on-site leadership, ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards, while serving as the primary point of coordination between field teams, subcontractors, and project management.

Superintendent Responsibilities- Lead all on-site construction activities from project start through closeout.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain productivity and quality.
- Develop and maintain the project schedule, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and promote a strong safety culture on the jobsite.
- Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions proactively.
- Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and project specifications.
- Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, safety logs, and field documentation.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to manage schedules, budgets, change orders, and project communication.
- Lead jobsite meetings and maintain effective communication with owners, architects, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Mentor field staff and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- 2+ years of Superintendent experience managing commercial and/or multifamily construction projects.
- Experience with podium multifamily, self-storage, retail, or similar commercial projects preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and field personnel effectively.
- Knowledge of scheduling, quality control, cost awareness, and jobsite safety best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore or other construction management software is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation: $120,000–$160,000 DOE
