To serve as an event manager for a variety of associations and/or corporate clients. #LI-Remote
COMPENSATION$60,000 - 70,000
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as Event Manager for a variety of clients, prioritizing effectively.
- Serve in a support role for other client events, as needed.
- In collaboration with the Sourcing team, work with the client on location RFP, solicitation, negotiations, contracting and management.
- Manage vendor solicitation, RFP process, contract negotiations and management.
- Manage comprehensive event logistics in advance, on‑site, and post‑conference to include site selection, room sets, audio visual, food & beverage, décor, signage, etc.
- Manage and coordinate all vendors and staff through comprehensive event resume to include logistical facets for hotel, convention center, and applicable vendors.
- Evaluate and maintain event budgets against pre‑set spending limits.
- Provide clients with accurate budget estimates pre‑event and ensure post‑event billing reflects these estimates.
- Maintain department files and historical documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3-7 years of event experience.
- Experience in association or corporate markets and a multi‑client environment preferred.
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.
- Experience and understanding of how to create event specs.
- Experience drafting and managing event budgets.
- Experience working in Cvent and/or Map Your Show, a plus.
- VIP customer service, ability to deliver white‑glove service.
- CMP preferred.
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.

- Eager to learn with a desire for career growth in the events industry.
- Cvent, Map Your Show or other event technologies, a plus.
- Travel:
Approximately 20%, chiefly 4-5 day blocks of time.
