Annual compensation for this role is $ to $ USD plus $3120 float differential.
Job Summary
The Dentist provides dental care to all age groups in accordance with the State of Washington Department of Licensing and professional scope of practice and applies diagnostic and therapeutic dental services to Community Health Center of Snohomish County patients, while making reasonable and sound assessments and treatment plans within the scope of the CHC dental program.
All positions are assigned to a primary (home) work site. Employees designated as Float will be expected to regularly travel between multiple sites to support coverage for planned and unplanned staffing needs. Employees not designated as Float will primarily work at their assigned home site but may be temporarily reassigned to other sites based on operational requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred:
Education- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Completion of an American Dental Association (ADA) accredited residency program - Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) or General Practice Residency (GPR).
Experience
Preferred:
- Customer service related experience working with the general public (1 year).
- CDT-5 coding experience.
- Healthcare information systems, such as electronic health record and practice management systems experience.
- Working with low income, multi-ethnic populations.
Credentials
- Dentist license with the State of Washington.
- DEA controlled substances registration.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) certification - must be obtained on the first day of hire.
- Successful completion of CHC’s credentialing and privileging review upon hire and recredentialing as appropriate.
- Verified immunity to measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), and varicella (chickenpox). Immunity may be demonstrated through vaccination records or titer results. Medical or religious accommodation requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
