Dental Assistant III - On-Call

Dental Assistant III

• Provide chairside assistance using four‑handed dentistry across a full range of dental procedures
• Lead and support back‑office staff training, scheduling, and workflow
• Oversee patient flow, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure excellent customer service
• Maintain sterilization, OSHA compliance, and equipment maintenance
• Manage supply inventory, ordering, and emergency kit logs
• Support insurance verification, pre‑authorizations, and patient treatment planning
• Assist supervisors with policy implementation, performance monitoring, and quality improvement

• Dental Assistant Registration with Washington State Department of Health required
• Completion of a formal Dental Assistant program or 3+ years of experience
• Minimum 2 years dental assisting experience (or 3+ years without formal training)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• BLS CPR required within 90 days of hire; TB testing annually
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

• Starting wage: $24.28 per hour
• Work schedule:
  
  Monday – Saturday Hourly
