Our office is looking for a Rock Star Office Manager! This position serves as the primary bridge between our patients' clinical needs and their financial responsibilities. The role is vital for helping patients overcome financial barriers to care.
Core Responsibilities- Financial Consulting & Treatment Presentation: present treatment plans, estimated costs and insurance coverage, and secure patient commitment by presenting payment options.
- Insurance Management: verify patient eligibility and benefits, submit claims, and navigate insurance portals to ensure reimbursement.
- Collections & Accounts Receivable (AR): collect co‑pays and past‑due balances.
- Payment Planning: manage payment arrangements and facilitate third‑party financing applications such as Care Credit, Sunbit, and others.
- Administrative Support: reconcile daily bank deposits, complete end‑of‑day reporting, and maintain precise financial records in Dentrix software while reporting to the Practice Administrator.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education:
high school diploma or GED. - Experience:
at least 2 years as a Dental Office Manager in a dental front office, with deep understanding of team environments and staffing alignment. - Leadership and Development: demonstrate adaptability in a fast‑paced environment, adjust to changing priorities, and maintain professionalism.
- Technical
Skills:
proficiency in Dentrix practice management software and Microsoft Excel. - Communication: strong negotiation skills and ability to discuss sensitive financial topics with empathy.
- Compliance: deep understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
- Compensation: $27‑$38 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule:
compressed 9am‑9pm shift, 3‑4 days a week including one weekend day. - Job Type: full‑time, in‑person.
- Location:
Everett, WA (required). - Travel: candidate must be able to commute to Everett, WA.
- Must have 2+ years of experience in a dental practice setting.
- Familiarity with digital practice software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix preferred).
- Ability to handle pressure, problem‑solve daily, and maintain organization.
- Flexible schedule availability.
