About the Organization Emergency Dental Care USA is a group of dental offices focused on providing same-day appointments to emergency and non‑emergency patients. Inspired by urgent care medical clinics, EDCA offers much needed services on weekends, evenings and many holidays. Our offices are open seven days a week and can usually treat walk‑in patients. For over 20 years, we have helped thousands of people with toothaches, chipped teeth and other dental emergencies, diagnosing and treating patients on the same day.

Job DescriptionOur office is looking for a Rock Star Office Manager. The office operates 7 days a week, requiring a compressed schedule of 3.5 days per week that includes 1 weekend day. The role is the primary bridge between patients’ clinical needs and their financial responsibilities, helping patients overcome financial barriers to care.
Core Responsibilities- Present treatment plans to patients, including estimated costs and insurance coverage.
- Secure patient commitment to procedures by presenting payment options.
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits, submit claims, and navigate complex insurance portals to ensure reimbursement.
- Collect co‑pays and past‑due balances.
- Manage various financial opportunities for payment arrangements and facilitate applications for third‑party financing such as Care Credit and Sunbit.
- Reconcile daily bank deposits, complete end‑of‑day reporting, and maintain precise financial records in Dentrix.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years in a dental front office as a Dental Office Manager.
- Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment, adjust to changing priorities, and maintain professionalism.
- Proficiency in Dentrix dental practice management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong negotiation and exceptional communication skills for sensitive financial discussions.
- Deep understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
Compensation: $27‑$38 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule: Fast‑paced office setting, compressed shift 9 am–9 pm, 3.5 days per week including one weekend day.
