Hourly Range: $21.69 – $23.57
Position SummaryFull‑time Dental Assistant available for our Everett Dental Clinic. Candidate will assist the dental provider in the delivery of dental procedures allowed by the WA State Dental Practice Act, including Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining proper records for material safety data sheets (MSDS), spore testing, inventory of dental supplies, training new Dental Assistants, and organizing schedules and check‑lists for maintenance of dental procedures.
Qualificationsand/or Experience
- Valid WA State license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Organizational skills and dental record experience.
- Computer proficiency.
- Excellent customer service; ability to communicate in English. Preferred bilingual in English/Spanish.
- Dental Assistant II: completed formal program; 6 months of experience. No formal training: 18 months of experience.
- Dental Assistant III: knowledge of sterilization methods and OSHA regulations; able to duplicate radiographs, mount radiographs, place temporary restorations, take impressions, pour and trim models, place retraction cord, place matrix bands, perform coronal polish, and give fluoride treatments. Minimum 2 years of experience. No formal training: 3 years of experience.
