Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Required Skills:

  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with specialized training or experience in Hematology and Oncology
  • Proven proficiency in diagnosing and managing complex hematological and oncological conditions
  • Excellent clinical judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills for effective patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Experience with clinical research or participation in clinical trials
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Additional certifications in oncology or hematology (e.g., hematology-oncology certification)
  • Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-residency clinical experience in hematology and oncology
  • Prior experience in a hospital-based or outpatient setting specializing in hematologic and oncologic care
Other Requirements:
  • Active state medical license or eligibility
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and credentials
  • Flexibility to work full-time hours, including occasional weekend and weeknight call coverage
  • Commitment to providing excellent patient-centered care
  • Willingness to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to establish and grow a new clinic
