Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Required Skills:

Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine with specialized training or experience in Hematology and Oncology
Proven proficiency in diagnosing and managing complex hematological and oncological conditions
Excellent clinical judgment, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Strong communication skills for effective patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience with clinical research or participation in clinical trials
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Additional certifications in oncology or hematology (e.g., hematology-oncology certification)
Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years of post-residency clinical experience in hematology and oncology
Prior experience in a hospital-based or outpatient setting specializing in hematologic and oncologic care

Other Requirements:

Active state medical license or eligibility
Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications and credentials
Flexibility to work full-time hours, including occasional weekend and weeknight call coverage
Commitment to providing excellent patient-centered care
Willingness to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to establish and grow a new clinic
