Summary
We are seeking Substitute Classroom Teachers to join our team on an as‑needed basis. The ideal candidate will be able to provide instruction and manage classroom behavior in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Responsibilities- Follow lesson plans and provide instruction to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
- Manage classroom behavior and enforce school rules and policies
- Communicate with school administrators and regular classroom teachers as needed
- Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment
- Provide feedback to the regular classroom teacher regarding student progress and behavior
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Current Washington State Teaching certification
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and enforce school policies
- Must pass a fingerprinting process
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and schedules
$185.32 per full day
