This is a part-time .6 FTE Spanish teaching position within the World Language Department. The successful candidate will be able to teach multiple levels of Spanish. The specific teaching assignment is still being finalized, but the position will include Spanish I and Spanish II. Familiarity with teaching high school Spanish on a block schedule is a benefit but not required. Qualifications- B.A. (or higher) in Spanish or related field.
- Current Washington State Teaching Certificate with an endorsement (or the ability to obtain endorsement) in Spanish Education is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Familiarity with or experience in implementing a curriculum based around thematic units, ACTFL's Standards, communicative language teaching, and grammar instruction.
- Experience in curriculum differentiation to meet the needs of every student.
- Deep knowledge of Spanish-speaking cultures.
- Noted ability to communicate and collaborate with educational colleagues.
Salary:
Any offered salary is determined by internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, the applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications. Range: $54,929 - $90,635.

- Teach 3 Spanish classes scheduled between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday–Friday.
- Schedule is every other day for the part-time position.
