- Para educator (1.5 hrs): $29.05 - $39.07 / hour
- Office Assistant II (2 hrs): $29.40 - $33.99 / hour
- Nutrition Service I (0.5 hrs): $25.33 - $29.14 / hour
Perform a variety of clerical, instructional support, and nutrition service duties for students, staff, parents, and the public at Olivia Park Elementary. This dual MESP/MACP position is part‑time (4 hrs/day, 180 days/year) with benefits.
Performance Responsibilities and Essential Functions Office Assistant II- Provide clerical support, answer phones; respond to inquiries from staff, parents, students and general public; direct inquiries to appropriate personnel; schedule appointments; and assist with other duties as directed for the purpose of providing quality customer service.
- Process various documents and perform functions such as processing mail and responding to inquiries; prepare and mail correspondence; be responsible for a variety of information record‑keeping including fiscal and/or student records; document filing, tracking information, data entry, etc.
- May assist with student health needs.
- May serve as a designated first aid provider.
- May assist with supervision and monitoring of students.
- Word‑process, type, copy, collate, sort, file and distribute documents to support the efficient operation of school office services.
- Prioritize and organize tasks for the purpose of meeting deadlines, accessibility of information, and completing job duties in a timely manner.
- Comply with District Policies.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor(s) for the purpose of maintaining an organized and efficient environment.
- Assist teacher(s) with the daily supervision of students for the purpose of maintaining and providing a safe and positive learning environment.
- Under the teacher’s direction, administer multiple student tests, collect and maintain diagnostic and test data, update student records, and assess student progress.
- Assist teacher(s) with monitoring and managing student behavior and progress; share observations with teacher(s) and other professional staff.
- Assist teacher(s) with implementation of various strategies to address diverse student needs and support individual educational growth and achievement goals.
- Provide clerical and general classroom assistance for staff, which may include collection and data entry of information, correspondence, copying, filing, and preparation of classroom materials.
- Administer first aid, medical assistance, physical support and personal care for the purpose of providing appropriate care for ill, medically fragile, and/or disabled children.
- Provide physical assistance for students with special needs such as feeding, toileting, proper lifting and positioning of students in and out of chairs and with adaptive equipment; assist students with the use of specific equipment related to their disability (e.g., materials, assistive technology, visual aids).
- Track and dispense authorized student medications.
- Perform crossing guard duties before and after school to supervise and monitor students.
- Assist with monitoring students in the cafeteria and/or at recess; assist with maintaining a clean and orderly environment for student safety and well‑being.
- Participate in meetings and training for the purpose of sharing information, improving the employee skills and knowledge, implementing school initiatives and addressing student needs.

- Maintain consistent presence at assigned worksite and regularly work hours specified.
