Position Summary:
The Department of Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering and Technology (MMET) is a diverse department at Oregon Tech (Oregon Institute of Technology) that offers Bachelor of Science Degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, and Mechanical Engineering Technology. Adjunct Instructors may be invited to serve as adjunct teaching positions for courses within the department. Qualified applicants may be invited to serve as Adjunct Instructors for courses within the department. The appointment may include courses offered online, in person on campus, hybrid, or related clinic or lab, or an alternative format responsive to state and local requirements.
Location:
MMET primary campus locations include Klamath Falls, OR;
Wilsonville, OR; and Everett, WA. Teaching may be conducted remotely/online depending on the departmental need and course requirements.
- Master’s Degree or higher in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Experience teaching
- Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard)
- Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching, such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams
