Position

Part‑time Spanish Teacher (.6 FTE) – effective August 2026.

• Teach Spanish I and Spanish II on a block schedule (specific assignment to be finalized).
• Differentiate curriculum to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support student learning.
• Possibly teach up to three classes scheduled between 7:30 am and 3:00 pm, Monday‑Friday, every other day.

• B.A. (or higher) in Spanish or related field.
• Current Washington State Teaching Certificate with, or ability to obtain, endorsement in Spanish Education.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Experience with thematic units, ACTFL Standards, communicative language teaching, and grammar instruction.
• Experience differentiating curriculum.
• Deep knowledge of Spanish‑speaking cultures.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Range: $54,929 – $90,635, determined by internal equity, market data, skills, experience, degrees, and certifications.
