Instructional Aide Subs – School-Based | Per Diem | Everett, WA

Flexible, per diem opportunities are available for compassionate Instructional Aides to support students 1:1 within school settings. These roles provide meaningful work supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially as part of a structured classroom environment.

• Provide 1:1 or small group instructional and behavioral assistance as directed by teachers and staff
• Support students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) where applicable
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• TB test completed per school guidelines
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain them prior to starting work

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training or certification in CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus but not required
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative work ethic

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.00 to $28.00. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
