Per Diem Classroom Assistant | Everett, Washington

Instructional Aide Substitute positions are available for compassionate professionals ready to support students in a dynamic, school-based environment. In this role, you will:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students, guided by teachers and school staff
• Assist students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Help with transitions, daily routines, and classroom participation
• Carry out individualized education programs (IEPs) and implement behavior support plans
• Support mobility, supervision, and basic personal care as needed
• Cultivate a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

Essential requirements include:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Current TB test in accordance with district policy
• Ability to stand, walk, and help with lifting if required
• Willingness to complete required background checks and clearances prior to starting

Preferred experience:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care settings
• Experience working with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT methodologies (not required, but a plus)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
