Leadership Development Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Present formal courses and specialized training supporting core leadership proficiencies in classroom and virtual platforms.
  • Coordinate and execute existing quality leadership development programs for various levels of leaders, including Potential Leader Program, New Leader Curriculum, and Advancing Leader Program.
  • Design blended learning modalities such as classroom training, virtual training, e‑learning, self‑study, and other mediums.
  • Assist with development of program‑related deliverables including facilitator and participant materials, presentation media, job aides, and on‑the‑job development accelerators.
  • Support marketing and distribution of internal communications for learning programs.
  • Conduct performance audits and/or training needs analysis through interviews, focus groups, surveys, field visits, and other methods to identify current and future needs.
  • Analyze ROI and recommend modifications to enhance initiative effectiveness.
  • Provide one‑on‑one and group coaching to participants to drive application and business impact.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training performed by outside vendors.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required;
    Master’s degree in education, organizational development, human resources management, or related field preferred.
  • At least 4 years progressive experience in a corporate learning capacity developing, delivering, analyzing, and measuring learning programs.
  • Certifications in programs such as SDI, Crucial Conversations, 360 Assessments, MBTI, or similar preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational, multi‑tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong analytical, creative problem‑solving, questioning and feedback abilities.
  • Customer service orientation, high work standards, and initiative.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management.

Travel:
Requires up to 30% travel.
