Systems Engineer 3 – Measurement & Control

Work Mode: 100% Onsite

Duration: 12 months contract

Pay Rate: $72/hr. on W2

Role Overview

looking for Systems Engineer 3 (Career Level) professionals to join the Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team in Everett or Renton, WA. This role supports the development and integration of complex aircraft systems with a strong focus on requirements engineering, system architecture, safety analysis, and verification & validation (V&V) in alignment with ARP
4754A and ARP
4761
standards.

The position requires close collaboration with software, hardware, safety, and test engineering teams to ensure system performance, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Support and contribute to requirements definition, decomposition, and allocation from aircraft-level to system and item-level.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining functional and logical system architectures
    .
  • Perform and support system safety assessments
    , including FHA, PSSA, SSA, CMA, and FMEA/FMES
    .
  • Ensure requirements traceability from system-level down to item-level design and implementation.
  • Plan and execute verification and validation (V&V) activities across the V-Model lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with software and hardware teams during system design, integration, and testing phases.
  • Support FAA/EASA certification activities
    , including documentation and compliance evidence.
  • Participate in technical design reviews, audits, and technical interchange meetings
    .
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical, Computer Engineering
    , or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering within aerospace or complex system environments
    .
  • Hands-on experience with Systems Engineering V-Diagram / V-Model processes.
  • Knowledge of safety assessment methodologies (FHA, PSSA, SSA, CMA, FMEA/FMES).
  • Familiarity with certification standards such as ARP
    4754A, ARP
    4761, DO-178C, DO-254

    .
  • Strong analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with requirements management tools (e.g.,
    IBM DOORS
    ).
  • Knowledge of system modeling tools (SysML/UML, Cameo, or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting test planning and execution across multiple integration levels.
  • Exposure to aircraft system design, development, and certification activities.
