Engineering Technician Supervisor, Mechanical

Onsite role based at our Everett, WA campus, reporting to a Production Manager.

• Lead and support a team of Engineering Technicians in Helion’s mechanical engineering development efforts.
• Manage daily operations, prioritize technician workloads, and ensure safe, high-quality execution of system build and test activities.
• Drive rapid hardware development by understanding design challenges and identifying opportunities to solve them through build, test, and iteration.
• Partner closely with engineers, technicians, fabricators, and managers to execute complex mechanical systems development and testing.
• Mentor and develop technicians, reinforcing best practices and continuously raising technical standards and execution quality.
• Plan and coordinate daily technician activities, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and protocols, including radiation protection and environmental standards.
• Establish and maintain quality control practices that meet or exceed industry standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to operations, inventory, and equipment maintenance.

• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams, including task assignment, performance management, and adherence to operational and design standards.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience building, testing, and troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Helion’s compensation package includes a base salary, meaningful equity grants, and comprehensive benefits. Final compensation is determined through a holistic evaluation of experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

Annual Base Pay

$111,000 – $140,000 USD
