What You Will Be Doing:We are seeking a proactive and technically minded Global Supply Manager to join our growing team. You'll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to source and procure custom electronics, ensuring suppliers meet our quality, price and delivery requirements. This position offers the opportunity to lead key initiatives that strengthen our supply chain and vendor partnerships. This is an onsite role that reports directly to the Manager of Sourcing and Procurement at our Everett, WA office.
YouWill
Source electronic components and assemblies in collaboration with engineering and production. Drive BOM cost reductions and secure vendor capacity to support schedule requirements.
Identify new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors to develop a diverse and robust supply chain.
Lead bidding efforts. Negotiate contract terms and manage existing contracts with vendors including manufacturing service agreements, stocking programs, non‑disclosure agreements, etc.
Lead initiatives and projects cross‑functionally.
Create purchase orders, resolve invoice and receiving snags. Maintain accurate ERP vendor and open order data.
Master’s degree or equivalent years of experience in sourcing, contracting & supplier management
Proven track record of scaling supplier spend into the $100M+ range, including establishing long‑term strategic partnerships in technically complex, capital‑intensive environments
Experience supporting complex electromechanical, pulsed‑power, high‑voltage, or semiconductor in energy, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing environments
Direct experience working with engineering teams through rapid design iteration, ambiguous specifications, and evolving requirements
Familiarity with capital equipment sourcing, including precision machining, specialty metals, ceramics, composites, and advanced electronics
Experience developing and qualifying new suppliers for novel technologies industries
Strong understanding of supplier risk management, including long lead‑time mitigation, sole‑source strategies, and make‑vs‑buy analysis
Experience scaling from R&D and prototype builds into pilot and early production, while maintaining schedule discipline
Ability to operate effectively in a mission‑driven, high‑urgency startup culture, balancing speed, rigor, and cost
Experience supporting a global supply base, with knowledge of domestic supplier ecosystems and export/control considerations
Demonstrated ability to influence senior technical leaders and program managers through data‑driven trade studies and sourcing recommendations
Experience mentoring junior sourcing or supply chain team members
