We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer in Everett, WA. The selected candidate will develop system requirements and define system architecture.

• Develop system requirements and define system architecture.
• Develop or review hardware and software designs and associated interface specifications.
• Own component level design requirements (Source Control Documents).
• Analyze system performance through modeling and simulation.
• Support the development, maintenance, or modification of system, component, and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
• Perform and document analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Work with a worldwide supplier base to develop and implement system hardware, electronics, and software.
• Contribute to supplier development, design reviews, test and production activities and direct suppliers to optimize integration and achieve product compliance and develop, verify, validate, and certify designs through both laboratory and airplane testing.

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or closely related field and at least 5 years of related post‑baccalaureate experience as a Systems Engineer, Avionics Engineer, or related engineering occupation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in each of the following areas: aircraft systems component development, design, test, and certification; demonstrating compliance with applicable regulations including 14 CFR 25.1309; performing trade studies to define aircraft systems configuration changes.
• Experience with spatial integration of aircraft systems using CATIA V5/ENOVIA; aircraft systems requirements development, validation, and verification using DOORS database; performing aircraft systems safety analysis per ARP 4761; and development and management of complex engineering project schedules.

Salary: $147,084 - $164,000 per year. This position is for 1st shift.
