Fluke Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Senior RF Metrologist to support factory and service operations in Everett, Washington. This is a key technical role responsible for establishing, sustaining, and advancing RF calibration capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a technical authority for RF measurement issues, troubleshooting complex calibration and out‑of‑tolerance conditions.
- Execute and oversee complex RF calibrations for production and customer instruments, ensuring accuracy and repeatability.
- Establish and maintain metrological traceability of RF standards through internal and external calibration services.
- Develop, validate, and improve RF calibration procedures, standard work, and measurement uncertainty budgets.
- Support ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, including audit preparation, technical responses, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with global metrology teams, engineering, quality, and operations.
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to RF metrologists and technicians.
- Support new product introduction, sustaining engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives related to RF metrology.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years hands‑on experience in RF metrology and calibration within an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited environment.
- Proven expertise in RF measurements, uncertainty analysis, and method validation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong technical judgment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and correct complex RF measurement issues.
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
- Programming, automation, or calibration software experience.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Experience transferring or standing up RF calibration capabilities between sites.
- Familiarity with Fluke or equivalent RF calibration systems and standards.
- Extended travel to Norwich, UK for training may be required.
- Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates moving to Everett, WA.
