Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in cloud-scale FPGA build automation, is seeking a Silicon Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Silicon Validation Engineer,
you will be part of the Engineering Systems and Automation department supporting FPGA tool data extraction and automation projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, collaborative spirit, and a passion for innovation, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Silicon Validation Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA - Remote

Pay Rate Range: $61.15 - $67.27 on Experis W2 (Benefits/PTO/401k)

Hard skills
  • FPGA EDA Tools - Vivado/AMD or Quartus/Altera - 3+ years
  • Proficiency in Python - 3+ years
  • Proficiency in TCL for FPGA EDA Automation - 3+ years
What's the Job?
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts for extracting metrics from FPGA implementation tools such as Vivado and Quartus.
  • Automate the collection of timing, utilization, and quality metrics to support large-scale FPGA build processes.
  • Integrate extracted data into existing data pipelines and tooling for analysis and reporting.
  • Support and modify FPGA constraint and automation scripts to ensure reliable metric generation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendor engineers to troubleshoot flow issues and improve automation workflows.
What's Needed?
  • Proficiency in FPGA EDA tools:
    Vivado (AMD) and Quartus (Altera) with 3+ years of experience.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, with at least 3 years of hands‑on experience.
  • Expertise in TCL scripting for FPGA automation, with 3+ years of experience.
  • Deep understanding of FPGA implementation flows, timing, and utilization metrics.
  • Experience working with large FPGA infrastructures and automation workflows.
