We are seeking senior-level Product Review Engineers (Liaison Engineers) to support aircraft manufacturing operations across multiple production sites in the Puget Sound region. This role serves as the engineering representative on the factory floor, working directly with production teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure engineering designs are successfully implemented during aircraft manufacturing.
The ideal candidate is a highly experienced aerospace engineer who can make timely engineering decisions, troubleshoot complex production issues, and collaborate effectively with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.
This position is 100% onsite and requires hands-on collaboration within a manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze production non-conformances and develop engineering dispositions
Conduct root cause analysis to resolve manufacturing and product issues
Evaluate technical, operational, and quality issues using engineering principles
Identify and communicate design deviations that may impact safety or design intent
Implement product and process improvements within the manufacturing environment
Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in design reviews
Represent engineering throughout production and post-production activities
Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with engineering standards
Participate in repair investigations and support on-site production teams
Analyze aircraft damage or structural modifications and develop repair solutions
Design interim structural repairs and perform strength analysis
Develop and support non-destructive testing procedures and engineering standards
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited program
20+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
Structures engineering
Systems engineering
Design engineering
Production or manufacturing engineering
Extensive experience supporting aerospace manufacturing environments
Hands-on experience with aircraft materials and manufacturing processes
Strong collaboration skills working with production and engineering teams
This role involves working directly in a manufacturing/factory environment, which may include:
Walking factory floors and entering aircraft during various stages of production
Exposure to stairs, trip hazards, high-noise environments, and industrial equipment
Exposure to chemical handling environments and safety-regulated production areas
Participation in a training rotation program (~9 months) which may include shift changes
Potential rotation across first, second, or third shifts depending on operational needs
Possible travel between Puget Sound manufacturing facilities
Must meet U.S. export compliance requirements
