Job Description
Seeking a Materials & Process Engineer to support the development, qualification, and implementation of tools, equipment, materials, parts, and manufacturing processes used in aerospace product design and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Support definition and implementation of materials, parts, tools, and process requirements
- Update specifications and technical documents related to manufacturing and engineering processes
- Perform testing and qualification of new tools, materials, equipment, and processes
- Assist with supplier qualification and compliance activities
- Conduct analysis to determine performance issues or root causes of failures
- Support corrective and preventive action initiatives
- Develop basic computer and production systems to support user requirements
- Utilize project management tools to support cost, schedule, and technical objectives
- Apply Environmental Health & Safety, LEAN, and Quality principles across manufacturing and engineering activities
- Technical AA Degree or related technical background
- Comfortable using computers and production systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to support manufacturing and engineering environments
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related engineering discipline from an accredited institution required.
