About the Role
Join Indotronix as a Mission Avionics Systems Engineer, where you will play a vital role in designing, integrating, testing, and certifying advanced avionics and RF systems for next-generation aerospace platforms. Responsibilities
- Lead and support avionics system design, development, and integration from concept through certification
- Validate and verify system requirements, ensuring seamless hardware/software integration
- Develop and execute detailed test plans; participate in flight and laboratory testing initiatives
- Diagnose and troubleshoot avionics, RF, networking, and communication system issues
- Conduct thorough Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
- Collaborate with suppliers, software teams, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
- Support FAA and military certification, airworthiness activities, and compliance documentation
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field
- 9+ years of relevant experience (7+ with Master's, 4+ with PhD)
- Proven experience with avionics systems, communication systems, RF technologies, or system integration
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware/software systems
- Familiarity with radios, military GPS, Link 16, or related communication systems
- Active security clearance required
Preferred Skills
- Background in FAA or military certification requirements
- Hands-on experience with RF engineering, navigation systems, flight management, or mission control systems
- Proficiency in avionics LRUs, supplier management, and RCCA investigations
- Exposure to software development processes and requirements development
