Avionics Technician – Non-Licensed (Airbus)
Job Summary:
HQ Aero is currently recruiting for Avionics Technician – Non-Licensed (Airbus) in Everett, WA
Responsibilities:
As an Avionics Technician – Non-Licensed, you will be required to:
- Strong in wiring, routing, termination, and testing
- Strong understanding of Airbus ESPM
- Ability to read and execute Engineering Orders (Eos) cleanly
- Troubleshooting capability
- Able to access and restore work area
- Within budgeted or estimated time, repair, modify, install, and perform routine and non-routine maintenance of all Avionics systems with a high degree of proficiency and with minimal assistance.
- Accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, drawings, engineering orders and other documents from both the customer and ATS to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification.
- Using detailed knowledge of the aircraft systems and their operation, apply deductive concepts to troubleshoot and isolate defective components.
- Assist Leads with planning, productions, and quality assurance of assigned projects. Assist with the training and development of Technicians.
- Properly utilize Avionics test equipment to perform systems test and keep abreast of new and advanced test equipment and the use of such equipment. Properly utilized and maintain Avionics hand tools to perform repairs and installations.
- Operate ground support equipment e.g. power carts, Hi-Reach, etc. as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years of recent relevant related avionics experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience/training.
- Airframe and/or Airframe & Powerplant license is preferred
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Standard Aviation Tool Kit required.
- Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
- Full-time, Contract
Working Conditions:
Required to work frequently near moving mechanical parts. Required to work in outside weather conditions. Exposed to loud noise levels. May be required to work after hours and on weekends as needed.
Physical Demands:
Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Able to use arms, hands, and legs to accomplish tasks. Able to sit, stand and squat for extended periods of time. Able to climb with balance on and off aircraft.
Mental Requirements:
Problem-solving and critical thinking.
