Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer
Position type:
Full-time (Contract). Duration: 6 months with possible extension.
Location:
Everett, WA – Onsite.
- Support the entire product lifecycle, including requirements analysis, systems design, lab design/specification, integration testing, flight test, technical sub‑contractor management, field support, and customer interactions.
- Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Design hardware, software, and interface specifications.
- Validate tests to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Resolve problems concerning fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
- Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or any advanced degree in STEM (Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry).
- 3+ years' experience with hardware or electrical/electronic systems design in Aerospace/Defense.
- Working knowledge in subsystem design, requirement analysis/allocation.
- Practical experience with lab equipment for hardware development, troubleshooting, and data capture.
- Experience with LRU development, test, and qualification.
- Military aircraft program experience.
- MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429, and Ethernet architecture knowledge.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong leadership, team building, and mentoring skills.
Pay Range: $65/hr to $75/hr.
