Position Overview
We are seeking Equipment & Tool Engineers to support production engineering operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is highly hands-on and requires direct interaction with production teams, equipment, and tooling systems.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and driven to improve processes, efficiency, and production outcomes.
=Key Responsibilities
Develop equipment and tooling concepts, specifications, and solutions to support manufacturing and production requirements
Act as liaison between engineering, tooling, and production teams to support fabrication and implementation
Participate in design reviews; gather requirements and create/revise drawings and 3D models
Generate specifications and purchase requests for new equipment and tooling
Ensure designs meet safety, reliability, maintainability, ergonomic, and regulatory standards
Develop inspection procedures, usage instructions, and preventative maintenance plans
Support training development for equipment and tooling usage
Manage project schedules and budgets for tooling/equipment initiatives
Work Environment
Up to 8 hours on feet (standing/walking on production floor)
Climbing stairs/ladders and working at heights or in confined spaces
Required use of PPE
Frequent interaction with mechanics, technicians, and manufacturing teams
Bachelor's degree in:
Engineering / Engineering Technology
Manufacturing Technology
Computer Science, Data Science
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
1+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Ability to work onsite in a production/manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years in a production or manufacturing environment
Experience with tooling, equipment design, or production engineering
Project management experience
Experience with 3D modeling and CAD tools
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Nice-to-Have (Specialized Experience):
Pressure vessel design (ASME Section VIII, NBIC codes)
Piping codes (ASME B31.1 / B31.3)
Welding processes and inspection methods
Non-destructive testing (UT, magnetic particle)
Thermodynamics / fluid mechanics application
Autoclave or composite curing systems design
Must be a U.S. Person (export compliance)

Reliable attendance and ability to work in a production setting
