Quality Assurance Investigator (QAI) Level 3 – Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)

• Investigate product non-conformances, procedures and engineering requirements to develop RCCA.
• Perform analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes against QMS requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulations.
• Apply knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
• Train and mentor fellow employees in the Quality Management System.
• Perform root cause analysis on nonconformances to identify causes and prevent reoccurrence.
• Independently develop, modify and document actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action and document resolution.
• Obtain corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes.
• Negotiate concurrence, obtain commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritize quality activities and ensure problem resolution.
• Review and validate corrective action plans and identify effectivity to ensure completion.
• Review and approve quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.
• Guide validation of configuration management, quality procedures and material review policies to deliver software products.
• Develop software system processes to support changing industry standards.
• Review and implement corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements.
• Interpret industry standards and provide recommendations for implementation.
• Create analytical reports and coordinate with responsible parties for internal/external distribution.
• Work under general direction.

• 3+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience conducting quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action activities in a production environment.
• 3+ years of experience working with Non‑Conformance (NCR) processes and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• 3+ years of experience gathering data, performing analysis, and presenting results.
• 3+ years of experience with, or knowledge of, at least one airplane system.

• Associate degree or higher.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Experience supporting root‑cause corrective action and problem resolution in a production environment.

Pay Range: $95,200 – $128,800.
