OverviewThis position will specifically involve working with Cabin Systems, which encompasses interior lighting, passenger address systems, seatback video, passenger connectivity, satellite connections, in-flight entertainment, and more. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Electronic Systems Design and Analysis Engineers.
12+ months — possible extension and possible FTE opportunity.
What you’ll needRequired skills / qualifications:
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in an electrical design engineering environment (with emphasis on electronic and electrical systems design and analysis).
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Preferred skills / qualifications:
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with in Electrical Systems hardware and software design.
- Knowledge of FAA certification.
- Experience with system design and integration during an airplane development program.
- Experience with Model Based Development tools.
Additional qualification details:
Bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years’ experience in an engineering classification or a Master’s degree with typically 3 or more years’ experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
