Onsite only Main responsibility:
Reviewing System-level Safety Analysis documents prepared by airplane systems, propulsion, and interiors commodity teams Training:
Provided on MAX-specific configuration details and SSA document expectations.
Required experience:
Both system safety engineering and design engineering at the system-level (e.g. avionics, fuel systems, flight controls, etc.) Required knowledge: ARP
4754(A) standards as applied to System Safety Assessments Fault trees and numerical probability analysis methods applied to safety analysis Failure Modes and Effects Analysis methods applied to safety analysis Common cause analyses, especially common mode analysis
Required skills:
Clear and concise technical writing skills, ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in electrical, aerospace and computer engineering Over 10 years’ experience in system safety Knowledge of ARP
4754 standards Knowledge on propulsion and interior systems Knowledge on avionics systems like Fuel system, flight controls.
