About the RoleProduct Data Management Specialist (Mid-level) – KC-46 Tanker Program.
Location:
Everett, Washington. 100% onsite.
The KC-46 is a leading-edge commercial derivative airplane program supporting the U.S. Air Force and international customers.
Position Responsibilities- Collaborate and lead the development, analysis, management, and compliance verification of process and product baselines for complex products.
- Define, plan, coordinate, and conduct (or lead) product and subsystem-level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products.
- Coordinate and lead the integration of product elements and analyze and resolve issues with engineering product structure.
- Develop, integrate, and implement engineering technical program plans including impacts, risks, and incorporation of lessons learned spanning multiple engineering functions.
- Apply knowledge of interface and integration constraints for complex systems to identify and analyze hardware, software, product, and system impacts.
- Assure integration of product elements and resolve complex issues with engineering product structure.
- Demonstrate knowledge of government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations related to cost proposal development.
- Understand proposal, accounting, and rate development processes.
- Apply knowledge of audit, fact-finding, and negotiation processes and their impact on the proposal process.
- Ensure consistent application of Configuration and Data Management policies, processes, and program management best practices.
- Interpret contract requirements, especially Contractor Data Requirements List (CDRL).
- Apply systems thinking principles to anticipate future events and accelerate performance.
- Associate degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical content expertise.
- Experience with government programs, projects, or platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel for data processing.
- General knowledge of data management processes and basic understanding of CDRL and contract requirements.
- Knowledge of drawing/data systems and configuration management principles.
- Ability to understand and interpret contract requirements related to Configuration Status Accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in product data management, configuration management, or related engineering data roles.
- Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various engineering disciplines.
- Familiarity with relational database languages and tools such as SQL Server or MySQL.
- Familiarity with application development languages and tools such as C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
This position does not offer relocation.
Security ClearanceRequires U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
