Overview
Kimley-Horn's Everett, Washington (WA) office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Transit team! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities- The selected candidate will contribute to the production and delivery of transit design projects with a particular focus on, but not limited to, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) projects.
- Various tasks may include corridor concept development, assistance in public outreach, and transit evaluation.
- This role will require a high degree of multidisciplinary coordination.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are critical.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- 4+ years of transit-focused engineering experience including:
- Transit corridor design experience, focused on (but not limited to) BRT and LRT modes
- Track/guideway design
- Roadway design
- Station design, including park-and-ride facilities
- Outgoing, self-motivated team player
- High level of proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience communicating and working with clients
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Abilityto balance priorities among multiple projects
Salary Range:
- $105,000 - $170,000
- Eligible for performance-based bonuses
