We are currently seeking a Deputy Team Lead/Senior Corrosion Control Technician (Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E)) to support our customers in Everett, WA.
- Ten (10) years of experience in the corrosion control field supporting U.S. Navy ship and submarine maintenance, including experience with corrosion control issues, solutions, and technical requirements for Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) and C5I systems and equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; related military experience, trade/industrial school graduate, and/or trade experience.
- Required Certification: AMPP Senior Certified Coatings Inspector (CIP Level
3).
- Experience with mitigating shipboard corrosion control issues, identifying solutions, and understanding technical requirements for shipboard HM&E and C5I systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of surface preparation tools, corrosion control techniques, coating system application tools, and types of coating systems used on U.S. Navy ships or in the marine industry.
- Experience working with and understanding constraints associated with shipboard organizational‑level corrosion control and preservation maintenance.
- Understanding of new corrosion control technologies and how they may be implemented on U.S. Navy and/or Coast Guard ships/boats.
- Supervisory experience managing team subordinates; interfacing with government, shipyard, and contractor corrosion control maintenance activities; and working with U.S. Navy ship leadership, ship personnel, program leadership, and team members.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer‑related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

Compensation for this position is $66.21 per hour, with additional compensation determined by education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract‑specific requirements.
