An aerospace company is seeking a highly motivated Experienced Electromagnetic Effects (EME) Engineer to join its team. This position will support a range of commercial aircraft programs, working on platforms from narrow-body to wide-body aircraft.
Projects focus on translating concepts and high-level requirements into specific architectures and operational specifications. The engineer will work closely with systems engineers to validate designs through analysis, laboratory testing, and/or aircraft testing, supporting systems from initial concept through certification, delivery, and continued enhancement throughout their service life.
Responsibilities may include developing system requirements, reviewing hardware and software designs and interface specifications, supporting modeling and simulation efforts, and performing testing and validation in laboratory or aircraft environments. The role also involves collaborating with system suppliers to ensure successful integration and customer satisfaction, as well as contributing to certification deliverables, test reports, technical documentation, and design practices.
