Senior Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH) Engineer

5) Position to join Boeing Commercial Airplanes in Everett, Washington.
The selected individual will work within Boeing organizations and interface with suppliers to oversee development of Application Specific Integrated Circuits, Field Programmable Gate Arrays, and Programmable Logic Device changes. Responsibilities include ensuring application of best industry and Boeing requirements and assuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Engineers must understand RTCA/DO-254 and the relationship between complex electronics. Recent experience in compliance for airborne electronic hardware is highly desired.
PositionResponsibilities
- Oversee and guide teams with airborne electronic hardware devices in development of airplane systems.
- Provide either evidence of compliance or assist in compliance activities in accordance with FAA regulations.
- Direct suppliers to improve performance relative to contractual requirements (quality, delivery, cost, technical, safety, communication).
- Support audits and design reviews.
- Evaluate risks and opportunities; assist suppliers in implementing risk mitigation plans.
- Work with internal and external resources, utilizing tools, processes, and methods to enhance supplier performance to meet customer and program requirements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to support airplane systems objectives.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite at Everett, WA.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent non‑US qualifications directly related to the work.
- 7+ years of experience developing complex electronic and electrical systems such as device development, verification, or compliance activities.
- 5+ years of experience with certified airborne electronic hardware.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Bachelor's with 10+ years of experience or Master’s with 7+ years of experience.
- FAA Designated Engineering Representative, Authorized Representative, or Engineering Unit Member in a company’s delegated compliance organization.
Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process.

Summary Pay Range: $198,000 – $239,000
