Environmental Control Systems; ECS Design Engineer; Aerospace

Pay Range: $94 / hour on W2

We are seeking a senior-level Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer 4 to lead the development, documentation, and technical quality review of mechanical, fluid, and Environmental Control Systems (ECS). Working under minimal direction, you will validate system requirements, perform complex thermal environment analyses, and manage supplier development and testing activities to achieve critical program goals.

• System Design & Analysis: Lead the design, development, and modification of mechanical, fluid, and thermal environment systems. Perform and document rigorous engineering analyses (mechanisms, landing gear, or ordnance components).
• Technical Quality Review: Provide high-level quality reviews for system component designs, installations, and detailed documentation.
• Supplier & Project Management: Prioritize and delegate analysis tasks, track performance, and direct supplier testing and production activities to optimize integration.
• Mentorship & Business Support: Train and coach junior engineers, support proposal preparation, and assist with new business development efforts.

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in an engineering discipline (or computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry) from an accredited institution.

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience, OR
• Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience, OR
• PhD with 4+ years of experience.
