Boeing Electromagnetic Effects (EME) – Senior Electromagnetic Effects Engineer (Level4)
Location:
Everett, WA. This position will support one of many Boeing Commercial Airplanes programs from 737 to 787 and beyond. All projects center on translating concepts and high‑level requirements into specific architectures and operational specifications. You will work with systems engineers to validate designs through analysis, laboratory and/or airplane testing, and from initial concept through certification, delivery and ongoing enhancement throughout the product life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate requirements for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components.
- Develop and validate electromagnetic requirements for electrical/electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures.
- Develop architectures to integrate systems and components into higher‑level systems and platforms. Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation and other analyses to predict component, interconnect and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements.
- Define and conduct tests to validate performance of designs against requirements.
- Manage appropriate aspects of supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Provide support to products throughout their lifecycle by developing root‑cause analysis of anomalies and other engineering support as requested.
- Guide the successful completion of aspects of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
- Work under minimal direction.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite at Everett, WA.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
- 5+ years of experience in EME qualification, production support, design, test or analysis.
- Degree concentration in physics, electrical, aeronautical, or mechanical engineering.
- Experience building and leading cross‑functional teams.
- Experience working in a laboratory test environment.
- Experience working with federal regulations and certifications.
- Experience in commercial or military airplane maintenance and/or modification.
- Experience or education with electromagnetic theory and advanced mathematics necessary to perform or conduct electromagnetic analysis, design, modeling and testing.

Pay and BenefitsPay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Total Rewards package is competitive.
Summary Pay Range:
Senior (Level
4) – $146,000 – $198,000.
