USA Government Jobs - - Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance on urgent mission-degrading CASREPs or similar problems affecting major systems;
Communicate with ship's officers, exercising leadership, tact, and persuasion to influence and control corrective actions to be taken;
Resolve complex problems in assigned systems and equipment while often under pressure for rapid results to meet operational schedules;
Provide on-board technical assistance, troubleshooting, repair, and training for advanced shipboard network architecture, local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and associated communications systems aboard naval ships;
Perform routine testing, diagnostics, and repairs on localized shipboard network nodes, workstations, and peripheral equipment
