Technical Analyst 5 - Radiography L3
We are seeking a Technical Analyst specializing in Radiography for a 12-month assignment with the potential for extension. This role involves performing non-destructive tests (NDT), authoring procedures, and supporting the NDT team. This position is based on the first shift and requires a candidate who can work onsite in the Tukwila or Everett area.
Key Responsibilities
- Author Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures for Radiography.
- Handle NDT radiographs, including Digital Radiograph, Computed Radiograph, Film, X-ray, and Gamma-ray.
- Incorporate revisions authored by the responsible Level III personnel in the standard procedure review process.
- Develop Computer-Assisted Drawings (CAD) for specialized calibration standards.
- Set up non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
- Compose procedure figures to provide information on inspection location, geometry, and accessibility.
- Report potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
Required Qualifications
Education:
No degree is required for this position. Experience at an NDT school is beneficial.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test). Must have ASNT RT Level 3 certification or extensive experience in other NDT methods.
Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the aerospace industry.
- Experience with Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
- Experience with Eddy Current Testing (ET).
- Experience with CAD software.
- Experience writing UT & ET techniques and inspection procedures.
Work Environment
- Ability to work a first shift schedule, with flexibility.
- Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
