SECTION 1

This position would be a developing test engineer supporting an assigned product cell, added to relieve the over allocated test-engineering coverage. Builds first-pass-yield and test-development depth under the guidance of senior engineers and the Principal/Metrologist.

SECTION 2
** What this role entails:
*** Support test development and fixture maintenance for assigned products.
* Execute yield-troubleshooting and data analysis under general supervision.
* Support, maintain and improve test systems throughout the factory.
* Assist sustaining and NPI test activities for the cell.
* Document test methods and contribute to CAPA investigations. Validate test stations per existing processes and document accordingly.
* Apply FBS Standard Work; participate in Kaizen.
* Ensure conformance to the ISO 13485 / FDA 21 CFR 820 quality system.

SECTION 3
** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred).
* 0-3 years of engineering experience (internship/co-op counts).
* Foundational test, measurement, data-analysis, and metrology skills. Good understanding of analog and digital based circuitry and ability to read schematics.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Exposure to automated test or LabVIEW
* Root cause analysis experience using various problem-solving methodologies.
* Interest in medical device manufacturing.
* Experience with Quality Management systems in a highly regulated industry. Knowledge of ISO 13485 / FDA 21 CFR 820 requirements is a plus.
