Position: Everett Stadium 16 & RPX - Part Time Team Member- $20.77 an hour (Evenings 4pm to 2am)

Description

Team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and/or employee availability as either variable‑hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular, or full‑time hourly employees. The primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Team members may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher and must act as a representative of Regal in a way that is consistent with our mission statement and policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Regular and consistent attendance.
  • Handling of emergency situations when called upon.
  • General cleaning duties.
  • Compliance with company dress code.
Box Office
  • Operate POS system, ensuring accurate handling of cash, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed discount tickets, passes, and coupons.
  • Upsell and suggest higher‑tier viewing experiences (3D, RPX, IMAX).
  • Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
  • Ensure tickets sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
  • Respond to phone calls and guest inquiries in line with our guest service philosophy.
Concession
  • Operate POS system, maintain accurate cash drawer, and manage concession stock inventory.
  • Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
  • Operate, prepare, and clean all concession equipment.
  • Engage in upselling and suggestive selling.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws.
  • Adhere to all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods.
  • Maintain current alcohol certification and training where applicable.
  • Serve alcohol only if legally authorized and trained.
  • Complete required training on sexual harassment and discrimination.
Usher
  • Process ticket sales, collect and deposit stub receipts, and direct patrons to auditoriums.
  • Inspect backpacks and packages when necessary.
  • Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats.
  • Enforce the MPAA rating system.
  • Conduct inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, prevent film and content theft, and maintain a safe environment.
  • Report any problems or discrepancies to management.
  • Perform in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed.
  • Clean auditoriums and maintain cleanliness of restrooms, lobby, hallways, and other areas.
  • Monitor the cleanliness and operation of vending equipment.
  • Assist with all opening and closing duties as assigned.
Pay Scale Information

$20.77 per hour.

Education / Experience

Completion of the cast certification program and/or experience as a box office cashier or progress toward completion is required.

Legal & Training Requirements for Alcohol Sales

If the theatre sells alcohol, the employee must complete any required state or local training, obtain the necessary certificate, and complete the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University.

Language Ability

Good public speaking; effective listening and clear, direct responses.

Math Ability

Perform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors.

Reasoning Ability

Identify problems, gather relevant data, evaluate alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence. Perform under pressure or opposition.

Personal Skills

Excellent communication skills with customers, co‑workers, and management. Ability to set goals, budget time, and set priorities to achieve objectives.

Physical Demands

Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 60 lbs. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
